Koko & Mandovi

A vokal and instrumental group Koko & Mandovi was formed in 2004. The core of the group is made of members with rich experience in creating music, for they gained their knowledge in groups like Šukar, Vali ... just to name a few of the most known ones. Since its beginnings, the group has listed a number of successful concerts in Slovenia and abroad (Narodni dom Maribor, KUD France Prešeren, the Lent Festival, Hit Koloseum Sarajevo and others).

The members of the Koko & Mandovi group share a deep passion for the Roman ethno music.

Their varied repertoire is inspired by music from different parts of the Balkan penninsula where the Roman people live. This has influenced their authorship music where the Roman melodics mix with the energy of rock 'n' roll. Their first album entitled

Kamipe

, published in the beginning of 2007, offers a top selection of modern and energetic songs which have captured the hearts of the public at their concerts. They certainly don't leave the public indifferent.
